Craig was born in Denton TX and grew up in Sanger, graduating from Sanger High School in 1979. He has been very active in the community his entire adult life. He was on the Sanger Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years, serving as Chief for part of that time. He has served on the Sanger City Council and the Clear Creek Watershed  Board.  He is the voice of the Sanger Indian Varsity Basketball, Volleyball, and Softball teams. He's been announcing their games since 2004.

He is retired, after being employed with the City of Denton as the Home Chemical Collection Supervisor.  He is married to Christine since 1980 and they have two children. Katy Hall and her husband Trey of Sanger, Kyle Waggoner and his wife Delana of Muenster.  They have 1 grandchild, Ryleigh Hall of Sanger.

For the congregation Craig has most recently served as the deacon overseeing the work with the Cherokee Home for Chldren and the ladies ministry WInGS.  Most Sundays you will find him helping with the worship service in coordination of worship participants or leading singing. He also rotates teaching the Adult II class in the auditoriuIm.

In his spare time he is a Ham radio operator and works for a local harvester.
